Today, we invite you to join us in a vital mission: to raise $70,000 through our Heaven’s Half Acre campaign. Your support will enable us to purchase the 35 acres we currently lease, ensuring a permanent home for our sanctuary while expanding our services for those in need.
Why Heaven’s Half Acre?
At The Middle Way Sanctuary, we believe in the transformative power of equine therapy.
Our wild mustangs, trapped by the Bureau of Land Management, are not just animals, they are partners in healing. Through our programs, we offer children facing challenges and veterans coping with trauma the opportunity to connect with these extraordinary horses, fostering emotional growth, resilience, and hope. However, our opportunity to continue this life-changing work is at risk. Our lease is set to expire at the end of January, 2025. Without your help, we face the uncertainty of relocating or shutting down our operations. By contributing to the Heaven’s Half Acre campaign, you can help secure a permanent home for the Painted Ladies and our other horses where we can make a difference for years to come.
What Will Your Donation Accomplish?
With your generous contributions, we will be able to:
Purchase Our Land
Securing our sanctuary means that we can continue to provide a safe haven for wild mustangs and a sanctuary for those healing from trauma.
Build Essential Structures
Your donations will allow us to pursue construction of a riding arena, hay barn, administrative offices, bathrooms for our guests, and a kitchen to prepare meals during workshops and retreats.
Expand Our Programs
A permanent location allows us to grow our equine therapy programs, reaching more children and veterans that need our support.
The Impact of Your Gift
Every Donation of $1,000 enables us to purchase one of Heaven’s Half Acres. While donations in thousand dollar increments are most helpful, we welcome donations of all sizes. We will aggregate all gifts under $1,000 until they total that amount. For example, gifts of $25, $50, $100, $225, and $600 equal $1,000 enabling us to purchase another half acre.
